I'll be there too. Don't let a little rain change your plans, Edwin. I say points event rain or shine.

Ok... Everyone that was concerned about the weather tomorrow including myself, I think is going to be ok. Rain is coming through the early morning? As the storms head farther east into Tennessee and northern parts of Mississippi and Alabama overnight, they will tend to weaken. Throughout the day Sunday, the thunderstorms will advance farther south and east across the Southeast. Again, most of the storms are not expected to become severe.

Ron & I were there today & I wish the event was today. Its perfect out there right now,... but our event is tomorrow. So, I think will manage. The place is very dry and we adjusted some spots we think would be concerns with the rain. All & all I think were going to have fun. Running in wet conditions will be new to everyone of us. So the playing field is fair.......

Weather turned out to be IDEAL. If you weren't there, you missed out. There was only one shower, which started sprinkling on the last 2 cars of the morning session, and rained for maybe half of lunch break. The afternoon session was slippery, but cleaned up after a few runs, and ended up faster than the morning course. Yes, you heard that right. Two courses, and a sunny day!

Yes..folks it did turn out to be a beautiful day of rallycross. Thank you to all that came out not knowing what the weather was going to bring to the rally park. The course was challenging as well as fun. We had enough sunshine to have 9 runs & dozens of fun- runs.....Those that didn't make it, hope to see you soon. Those that haven't tried Rallycross yet, theirs plenty more events.......

Everyone I'll have the times & points up for ADC(Alabama Dirt Cup) up shortly....

stupid weathermen I decided late last night to stay home and then wound up staying up late to watch about 1/2 of the Australian GP.

It was a very fun course, with a few challenging parts. That site rocks.

Probably the most fun rallycross course I've driven yet. Much more open than at the school. And running it backwards in the afternoon was a blast.

Now we know how fast that place can dry out. After the rain it was so slick it was almost impossible to drive. But with about 30 or 40 recce runs and lots of wind and sun, it dried out quickly and there was even more grip than in the morning session!

The amount of fun to be had while Rally Crossing is hard to put into words. Another incredible day! I am figuring out that while car control is car control no matter whether you are an tarmac or dirt, I HAVE A LOT TO LEARN when it comes to driving fast on dirt! I think this is one of the reasons I'm having such a good time with it. Completely new challenges are always a good thing to keep you motivated.

Thanks to Sean and his crew for allowing us to run at Shag Bark and thanks to everyone involved at Honda for giving me the chance to drive a couple amazing cars.
