The LTD, he was just grouped with them since there was only the pilot in the 4 class.

Because they heard I liked my name, so they put my name as my name so I could have my name in my name... all the time.

We were MUCH happier with the Pilot. It was pretty fast and will turn now and the suspension is a lot better.Already have a list of 7 items that we plan to do to make the Pilot better. The list will grow but that is what we came up with so far. We will be there next time and hope for other 4M cars to be there.

I love that Pilot the more I see it. The tweaks you guys did to it really show by the manner you would throw it into the corners & the way it would react. Plenty of turn & good bite. I dig the transfer of power to the back wheels, when @ 3/4 throttle. It's almost perfect. I was able to tell from the way it handled during the school compared to this past event. I think you & Chris have just begun to really shakedown the Pilot. On the track you guys are building, your on the right path to having yourselves a STI & EVO killer,... & I'm just talking about rallycross....

Don't want the STI & EVO folks sending me hate mail...

You were in a good spot down at the bottom of the hill to see how it reacted on turn in. I really wish I could have watched just to see , that would help tuning the suspension. That was the main thing we were and still are working on is the turn in. We are thinking that with the lower rear that we may have to adjust the caster now. We did not think about it before we lowered the rear but we will try either a ride height change or coming up with a way to adjust caster. Each time we take it out ( it has been in the dirt 4 times) we go straight back to the shop ,sit down and make a good and bad list ,then just start at the top working on things.
Don't worry about hate mail from STI and EVO people. There is not a single one of them on the planet that thinks they could ever get beaten by a full size SUV with less HP, and they are more than likely right. It is an uphill battle at best.
                Thanks for the kind words.

OK OK lets see what the PILOT can do on our HOME field, since we may need the home field advantage to beat the PILOT.:

                  STI FTW

I am pretty sure you guys would beat the Pilot pretty much anywhere,I don't think you need the home field at all. I will check but I think we have a production day on that sat. at work. Business is picking up,that's good.
Also it is the week after the TT at TGPR. I am sure my wife will NOT let me out for two sat. and sun. weekends in a row,but we will see.

the M4 Subie's and Evo's must know something, none showed up to challenge the " Honda Dirt Vehicle" (HDV) last sun. Maybe the Subie's will come out when its sunny and not slick, the Evo's must not like the dirt?

We are looking very forward to the Black pearl coming out and we bet it will be great. We just hope we do not get beat by more than 10 seconds per run by it and we will be happy.

We are still cleaning mud from Sunday. So far we have spent about 5 hours cleaning the Pilot and still have the Accord to do. It was muddy.

Hey Paul, don't know if this will help you or not, but the dirt track guys around here spray their car with Pam before a race and the mud comes right off. See ya at Talladega.
