Curve ball, but what about doing it Sat.? There are no site limitations.

Talk about a late change of plans, but thats the good thing about the internet and cell phones for that matter, word travels fast.

The cones are still in place from last time so we arrive Sat. morning, move a few cones around, it won't take much and the course can still be very different and go.

Whats the worst that could happen? We set the schedule back an hour? Even 2 hours and we'll still have plenty of day time.

    I just checked weather.com

    Saturday:
    High 70, "abundant sunshine..."
    Chance of rain, 0%

    Sunday:
    High 66, thunderstorms
    Chance of rain, 60%

This club also has an autocross Saturday that many of us will be attending.

Why do I keep racing these weird cars?
Why can't I just get a miata and be happy?

Why not have a RallyXer class at the AutoX and make a 2 day event out of it for the Rally crossers? Tarmac Rally on Saturday and mud rally on Sunday. We should be able to set up
a pax class for the dirt dobbers.

BRC is almost a rallyx course now.

Now that, is a last minute plan..

I really like the sound of that, but its so short notice. John, I really would like to talk about that idea...so for now here is what i come up with......

OK, Everyone. I understand the concern with the weather this Sunday. I spoke with Sean(land owner) and yesterday it rained @ his place for about 30mins. April is a very busy month. We have the Easter weekend coming up, then the following week is Indy race @ Barber, then following week is Time Trails. We have the last week of April, but then it would be back to back RX because we have an event the first week of May. Alabama Cup Championship points will be scored on 9 events of the 12 or so events between ALSCCA & TRV. I wouldn't want to have a points event if there isn't a turn out. So I ask for those that will be coming rain or shine to POST-UP. Then we can make that call on points or non-points event. I want everyone to have a fair chance @ the points series...Dry today & very sunny tomorrow. On Accu-weather its giving 30% chance of rain on Sunday. Ron & I are going out tomorrow to rally park & making sure it wont be a mud fest and/or safety issues. Sean has done work to that back-side hill & made the climb straight up. If Ron & I think its not safe or cars will be getting stuck, then will change to another flatter area.......Please any suggestions, speak up......

                RAIN or SHINE we rallycross!

I haven't seen anything on this. Does everyone know it is a joint series? Reading...Alabama Cup Championship...I just assumed it was an AL Reg thing.

I'm 80% coming sunday. How's that for committal?

All right since Tim is coming I guess we are in also.
                      Here is the deal.

Decent conditions we run the Pilot and Accord
Muddy sloppy we will just run the Pilot

Not too sure how many of us but at least 2 and maybe 4 people.

Tim- Yes..Im going to present info about the series on Sunday, before posting-up. I just wanted to answer an question anyone had in person. Today was a nice hot day in Birmingham. Tomorrow will be the same. As for Sunday we just have to rely on Mother-nature to spare us halfaday to enjoy ourselves out there....I will post an update tomorrow afternoon.

BTW- Sean set up a website for the rally park...goto www.shagbarkrallypark.com

Cool, what would a rallycross be without a LTD.

Sean is serious about this Rallycross thing isn't he?

And then the run times could be combined over the course of both days?
