The flames from Robs car were almost twice as wide as the car, coming out both sides and the rear.

One of the guys found part of a connecting rod (among other parts/pieces) about below the start stand, I think.

He had the belts off before he had the car stopped. You'd be suprised how quick the drivers can move when they think they're on fire.

Ya know I'm sorry I didn't email you about this or give you a poke in the week before - I figured I might see you out there.

NASA has a late season event the first weekend in Dec. at Road Atlanta 12/6-8 something like that, you can check nasaproracing.com. They have an 8 hr Enduro Friday and regular HPDE/race weekend Sat/Sun. Not sure where you fall in the scheme of things - I heard HPDE3 and 4 were full, haven't checked lately. Have you done any NASA-SE events? They are a neat bunch of folks & I always enjoy working with them. Looking forward to driving with them next season.

              You coming out to Sunday?
