Excellant - someone read the rules! A nice touch is to deburr the hole and some people will touch a dab of paint on the exposed mat'l. Keep in mind that the inspector will be needing to have room to get dial calipers straight into the hole.
One hole per pipe - for example the roll bar main hoop will need one hole, if you have a full cage then put another hole into the front area towards the floor. If you have supports then place a hole into a least one on one side.

Talked with Richard last night, he will be at my house approximately 10:00am Saturday. I will have a garage space so inspections can be handled out of any weather. Park on street and we can drive cars into garage. Chuck

Thanks to Chuck Baader for hosting the tech inspection at his home today .Thanks to Rich Crowell and Mark Rothermel for coming out to do the inspections .

We did 4 annual techs on RR cars and logbooked 1 new TT car (mine).Thanks to all who came out and did their thing.

Have a question about inspections for new cages. I am hopefully fixing to start back on my 97 mustang and was wondering if I need to get my cage inspected before I paint it and the interior? It was built by Mark Stewart to American Iron specs.

No requirement to have the cage bare for inspection. There will have to be 3/16 inspection holes drilled in the main hoops and bars.

I am assuming of course, that the cage is built to conform to SCCA requirements.

Thanks Craig. If or when I ever get to W2W this car should be able to run in ITO according to what I have read. First thing will hopefully be TT school next year. I do hope the auto-x for racers is going on though, it sounds like the perfect place to work the car out.

Ive been looking to obtain one of those 1962 Annuals. The one with the bass looking to eat the frog. They dont come up on eBay to much and when they do I always seem to miss them.

Are you lost!!!!I sell maps .That is humor too by the way.
