Registration protocol in the South East has been to hold check/cc payments until verification of wheel turned. It was not clear on the MsReg site that the check/cc would be processed immediately. Has this policy changed? Chuck

Yes we hold onto the checks until you get out on the track. We are working with NSS on final payment date since we have the cc option and that option I need to double check on.

Steve and my credit cards have already been posted. Was not expecting that. Those charges can cause problems with the Supreme Commander. Chuck

I have gotten with Betsy Speed and Sharon Rollow to get this fixed. I will let you know ASAP.

MotorsportsReg has been notified - we hope to have an answer soon.

Well, it certainly was not our plan to charge the cc's before the event. From the staff of HoD our apologies that the early registers were charged using cc. We hoped that utilizing cc's would make it easier way to pay but not clicking the right sequence of items in MSR lead to a big mistake.
Again sorry for the bad start.

How about a little detail on what the sequence should be in order to use a cc on MSR
and not get charged until the event????

I am checking with Betsy Speed on protocol - I am hearing it is corrected but I am going to make sure and find out what you need to do.

OK from what I have been told that payment by cc will not be charged until the race day - there was an area on MSR that was not checked correctly during set-up but has been corrected.
I would suggest to get with Sharon Rollow sharonrollow@bellsouth.net if you have more questions

I can't wait to get my car on course at Nashville this year. Last year watching from the corner stations was fun but I was wanting to get on track and chase down Chucky B.

                          Who else is going?

Overall, registrations are picking up slowly. There is still plenty of race track room and garage space available.

We gave Spec Miata its own run group this year since that is what the SM drivers have been asking for. Where are you SM Drivers?

ECR participation is down this year. A fantastic opportunity for cheap track time. Entry fee is per car! Two drivers work well or one Iron Man can do it.

Entry is still open at Motorsportsreg

                              Low car count

                              Craig,

In the event that the event doesn't have enough participants and the event has
to be cancelled how will the folks that are gearing up for the thing know, and when.?
I just had a call from someone yesterday and he mentioned that there have been some
events cancelled due to lack of participation and low car counts. Hopefully this will not
be the case for Nashville but if it is, I would like to know as soon as possible since I have
rooms reserved and people making plans to be crew that weekend.

                              Thanks,
                              John Newcomb
