    The HoD is on!
If there was a cancellation there would be a mass email sent out via Motorsportreg and postings on forums - but we are a go.

Been home a couple hours . Great weekend despite a little rain here and there. Topnotch run event as usual. I recomend the experience. For Fathers day I treated myself to being 50 feet from the racetrack for 3 days.

        I really enjoyed it!!

          Great weekend!

A big thank you to Hans Mohnen and Ricky Ragan for making the trip up to Nashville to lend a hand. It seems me, Bobby Bitterman and Hayes Flynn were the only ALSCCA road racers to make it to the race. Bobby and Hayes combined to have a good time at the Enduro. Bobby was late to grid an the cars were on their parade lap when he made it to grid. They finally let him go and in 19 laps in the rain on slicks he made it to 1st place. I helped crew for them and we had a plan for pitstops devised in about 3 minutes that promptly turn to $@#&.
We spilled gas, some of us had no visors on our helmets, and in the end the exhaust broke bring Hayes in to the pits moments before getting a "meatball" flag. They chose to take the checker on pit lane. After the various penalties and infractions were handed out Bobby and Hayes ended up in 2nd place in ITR. Not bad considering it was a one car class.

Richard and Clayton Pannell ended up with the overall ECR victory.

For the SARRC races, I finished 1st in class on Saturday, 5th overall for group 3 and 2nd in class on Sunday, 6th overall. Bobby dropped out early on Saturday due to ignition issues and the broken exhaust kept him from racing on Sunday.

All in all we had a great time, lotta laughs and some of the most fun racing to watch....amateur racing.
