Forum will no longer be utilized!

After facing many challenges with utilization of this forum for many years, the board voted on the evening of 1/12/2026 to stop use of the forum in favor of the modern, more effective means.

Most of our general club organization will now be coordinated via Discord and results from our events along with schedules and announcements will be hosted on our main alscca.net webpage.

What does this mean for the old forum? Well, in short we are going to stop using it. This has been reviewed several times in the past few years, and there has been a desire for some of more tenured members of the club to have the historic content preserved. In an effort to preserve this content, it was discovered that we could not simply export the content to be placed in a modern website. This forum will now become an archive only forum and will not be monitored. If you wish to preserve any of the content, this is your time to search the pages to find it. There is no promise that this content will remain available forever with the fragile nature of this forum.

    Greenpower Talladega May 5th and 6th

    Want to help with the Greenpower event? Chime in below!

    Greenpower is a competive karting event that is the result of a STEM program. School kids, from 4th grade to 12th grade get to build these karts, all while learning skills that they will take with them forever.

    This is a great opportunity to support the younger generation and pass the torch!

    This may also be an opportunity to check out the infield of Talladega.

    The event will be May 5th and May 6th 2023 and we need VOLUNTEERS!

    We are looking for around 7-8 individuals. There will be a stipend of $50 per day for each person that volunteers. If you can only volunteer for one day or the other, please post here or email re@alscca.net. This is a great opportunity to pass on our passion for Motorsports to a younger generation!

        To those that signed up to work the Greenpower race this Friday and/or Saturday, thank you! There are a few things to mention before Friday. Please be at the entrance at 9 a.m. on Friday and 7 a.m. on Saturday. Waters, ice, and lunch will be provided. Please wear white if possible. Sunscreen is recommended.
