  • paramedic?

Did not know where it post this so sorry if I am in the wrong place. I am very interested in working some events as medical staff ( currently a NREMT-P and a Ga Paramedic with current certs) and I have no idea where to start to look. If some one can point me in the right direction of hook me up with who ever i need to talk to it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for you time.

Most SCCA events above Solo require an ambulance, not just a EMT. If you can supply that then maybe. Email me or any board member.

Emergency services folks can make good corner workers, because they are used to using a two-way radio and to reacting to stressful situations in a calm, deliberate and timely manner. You might want to give it a try. Some of us find it lots of fun, and a good break from your regular work.

We have a Time Trial Event coming up April 18-19 and have need for corner workers.
If you'd like to give it a try we'd be more than happy to have you join us.

I would encourage you to try the corner working.

Additionally, you can probably link up with the medical workers at barber motor speedway. That would be a great way to get involved and get some good medical experience as the helipad is staffed with an entire LEVEL-1 trauma team. It's essentially an entire trauma-surgical team from UAB. Totally overkill, but way cool.

              Just my 2 cents.
