  • F&C workers needed for Road Atlanta

Atlanta Region has for many years supported road racing that ALSCCA/TVR has conducted- You can help them by registering to work at:

SCCA - Atlanta Region - Club Racing on Saturday, July 25, 2015 - Sunday, July 26, 2015 at Road Atlanta, Braselton, GA - (to continue with registration, scroll to the bottom and click the green button) AR Hotel Partner: The SpringHill Suites- Mall of Georgia 3250 Buford Drive, Buford, Ga 30519 (678)714-2150 is the offi...

This is a double SARRC, Carolina Cup, ECR, SEC's, PDX and a pace car led drive around the track on Saturday (in otherwords a busy weekend).

The Atlanta region helps our region by sending workers for our Road Race at Barber. It's the least we can do to return the favor. If you are available, please sign up and help out.

    Thanks!

I'm going to Road Atlanta to race but when I'm done, I'm going to help out in Tech.
I'm sure they could use some help there as well as the corners.

Anyone interested please sign up and show your support for the SCCA.

Thanks to Hans and Nancy for lending a hand to the Atlanta Region Club Race at Road Atlanta.
They were working Start for the weekend. I appreciate their support for Club Racing.

I drove (Two 4th place finishes in ITA) and helped out in impound the rest of the day on Saturday, pushing cars across the scales and getting the overheated drivers cooled off. I had one racer ask me in impound if I had a twin brother that was racing because I looked just like the guy he was paddocked next to.

I really could have used some help handing out flyers as well for our race coming up next month. I was only able to distribute about 1/4 of the flyers I had on hand on Sunday but the paddock was clearing out, so alot of people were missed. While not totally important to get flyers out, it is important that we have the people who have the willingness or ability to help put on and support the race. It's been said many times that without the support of the club, workers, administrators, drivers, and volunteers, there will be no racing.

        I wish I could've been there.

The Club does need volunteers of all kinds in many places, and I've never had a bad day at the track. Getting to help out at Club Races is one of the benefits of membership. Some people actually pay money to watch racing. . . but nobody I hang out with does. ;^)
