Forum will no longer be utilized!

After facing many challenges with utilization of this forum for many years, the board voted on the evening of 1/12/2026 to stop use of the forum in favor of the modern, more effective means.

Most of our general club organization will now be coordinated via Discord and results from our events along with schedules and announcements will be hosted on our main alscca.net webpage.

What does this mean for the old forum? Well, in short we are going to stop using it. This has been reviewed several times in the past few years, and there has been a desire for some of more tenured members of the club to have the historic content preserved. In an effort to preserve this content, it was discovered that we could not simply export the content to be placed in a modern website. This forum will now become an archive only forum and will not be monitored. If you wish to preserve any of the content, this is your time to search the pages to find it. There is no promise that this content will remain available forever with the fragile nature of this forum.

  • Fall TT help needed

Mark Kilgore and myself are serving as Event Chairs for our fall TT at TGPR. We still have several key positions that need to be filled. If you are interested in helping in any of these areas please contact me asap.

Worker Chief: Responsible for recruiting and organizing corner workers.

Timing and Scoring Chief: Responsible for setting up and running T&S equipment for the event. (Decoders, printer, T&S computer, etc.) Previous experience required.

Registrar: Our region desperately needs a registrar! Registrar manages event registration on Motorsportreg and may receive entry forms and payment by mail. Registrars need to be well organized able to respond to questions about the event in a timely fashion. We will give you LOTS of support.

Also, it has been brought to my attention that some members of our region have put in the effort and received their licenses in other areas. Please contact me if you are wanting to put that license to work!

We are a club and need the support of all of our members to continue to pull off successful events. Thanks to those of you who continue to step up and keep us racing!

Post this on the TeamTac Forum as well

You will need a Licensed Chief Steward, TT Tech/Scrutineer, Chief Instructor, and a TT Safety Steward. If any of the above people are going to drive, you will need a second licensed individual to formally fill in while they are on track.

The supps need to be submitted to SCCA 45 days in advance of the event. I will need them before then since I will have to approve them for SCCA.

Are you doing a PDX and Track Trials?

Ted Theodore approached me about doing a TT School at the Oct Event. He is willing to assist.

Thanks, Craig. Most of those positions are filled. I will cross post.

Could you forward Spike Pannell's contact info to me?
