Turns out I'm on call at work, meaning that on the rare chance anything were to go down, I have to respond to work within one hour. With that in mind, would it be possible for Katie and I to be assigned to a worker station on the outside of the track near an exit ... like maybe the one outside of museum? If I have to leave, Katie would still be there to flag.

There is only a super slim change I'll have to leave, but I have to be prepared for it ...

While Racing ends at 5pm, there is a huge rumor that a certain RV will have a cooler of beverages for the workers

i have copd and am on supplemental O2. i cant move around fast. i can do without the O2 when i am stationary or with only limited movement. i cant walk to far at a time.
is there any volunteer positions avalable that i can do.
i looked on the motorsports reg site and found nothing concerning volunteer workers.i might be able to assist corner workers. id like that.
            thanks ....ted

Apologies to both of you that you weren't answered, here, in a timely manner, and had to send emails. This close to the event, it's hard to get over here on the forum regularly with all the activity that's going on behind the scenes. It's been a couple of days since I've been here. I'll try to check in here a bit more often until lunchtime Friday, then I'll be pretty much gone for the weekend.

                Thanks for your interest.

This is looking like it will be a great weekend, as usual.

We have a Time Trial at TGPR in roughly two weeks. Be there, or be square.

I really enjoyed my first experience being a corner worker. I was at station 12 which was probably the best seat in the house. We had a good view of the action in 5/6 on the starts and had a great view of the different lines people were using through 12/13 and up the hill which were surprisingly different. And the Spec Miatas did not disappoint!
