I got this email, last night. The folks at Roebling Road can always use some help. The drivers' school is always interesting, and the FV 50th looks fun, too.

Hello and Happy New Year!
The start of 2013 brings the beginning of a new year of racing at Roebling Road.
Please join us for the Buccaneer Region, SCCA, Double Driver’s School January 31 – February 3, 2013, at Roebling Road, near Savannah, GA.
We are recruiting volunteers in all specialties.
Flagging and Communications folks are needed Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, February 1, 2, and 3.
The Worker Meeting is scheduled for 08:15AM on Friday. Saturday and Sunday Worker Meetings are set for 07:45AM.
Registration and is open online at www.motorsportreg.com.
Please register in order to receive the worker incentives.
Seeing folks registered eases the anxiety of the Chief Steward (me too).

Gifts for volunteers include $50.00 a day, each day you volunteer, as well as lunch each day.
We have a Social scheduled for Saturday after the on-track activities have concluded.
If you know of a driver who is not instructing, please twist their arm and bring them along as we can always use more folks on the turns.

Information for the Formula V 50th Anniversary Party:
Hotel
The headquarters hotel for the Formula V 50th Birthday Party (April 5-7) is the Wingate Inn Gateway, Savannah, Georgia. This beautiful, newly remolded, smoke free hotel is conveniently located at I-95 and Highway 204 (exit 94). Each oversized room comes with a refrigerator, microwave, in-room safe, new 25" color TV, coffee maker, complimentary high speed internet, and more. As a Formula V 50th attendee, you will also have access to the outdoor swimming pool, state of the art business center, indoor whirlpool, and fitness center. Complimentary hot breakfast is available each morning. (Check in is 3:00 pm, every effort will be made for guests arriving earlier, but they ask that you please be patient.) They have already planned a "Bench-Racing Ice-breaker" for Thursday evening at the hotel and no doubt other spontaneous gatherings will erupt! There is plenty of parking for cars and trailers.
The hotel is approximately 12 miles or 20-30 minutes to the track, but well worth the ride! It is also conveniently to many of the Savannah attractions and local restaurants.
We have secured a large block of rooms at an excellent rate of $64.00 per night plus 13% tax for April 4-7, 2013. Reservations must be made by March 15, 2013. (After March 15th, our $64/night rate will be based on availability and a minimum of 2 night stay and cannot be guaranteed.) Reservation information is as follows:
