WORKERS! Mark your calendars.. It's that time of year again! Can't you just smell the tire smoke and clutch fumes? The COOLSHIRT 2010 TVR/ALSCCA Time Trials Championship Event, School and PDX is ready to start the year off with some fast times at the track...
The event will be held April 17-18, 2010 at Talladega Gran Prix Raceway in Talladega Alabama, 12 miles south of Oxford, Alabama on Highway 21
We need volunteers to work the event. View the event from the 2nd best seat in the house! We need volunteers for corner working, flagging and communications, right down to grid personnel! Enjoy the beautiful spring weather working a corner at TGPrix.
Without you events like these won’t happen. If you have an interest in Time Trials this is the best way to get to see it all up close. It's a typically easy work weekend since Time Trialers tend to play nice. Lunch is provided on both Saturday and Sunday and after the end of competition on Saturday evening we have a worker appreciation party with adult beverages and soft drinks.
Don’t worry if you don’t think you’re qualified, we’ll train you for the job too. If you’re a rookie we partner you with a more experienced worker to get you up to speed.
If you are willing to help, we'll feed you and give you a bit of track time as well,
email me with your contact information and experience.
Thank you!
