  • Anyone know a good dent remover?

This if from the hail today ... it seems to be the only one, but I honestly wish there were more at this point. I was caught in it driving home from work. I pulled in to the first gas station and the covered area was full ... I pulled in behind some people at the pumps, but apparently the rear was exposed a bit and the one golfball-sized hail chunk in Alabama hit me. I can only assume it's not worth the insurance claim since the trunk would not be replaced, only repaired.

Anyone know a good dent removal company? What about cost? This just sucks because I honestly can't afford to spend money on stuff like this right now ...

I ran into a down phone line. Saw it just in time to get all wrapped up in it. Luckily it was just a phone line. It left what equates to cone juice all over the car, but that cam off.

Shoot I forgot who we used to use at the body shop. Just check the yellow pages? They're usually quite cheap. I had 2 taken out of my new-to-me-used-car for around $40.

Can you divulge the source of this work openly? My wife's red rotary toy has some hail damage from its pre-garage days it would be better without.

Well, the issue is that I need a quote. I'm tight on cash right now. I am going to try dry ice on it, and if that gets it most of the way out I'll just deal with it and hope it just gets pelted next time ... =(

If they can quote me, sure ... give them my number. I wrote Badading about a quote but got no answer.

I borrowed one of those "as seen on TV" pullers, and it worked out okay. It's better, but still there.
