Forum will no longer be utilized!

After facing many challenges with utilization of this forum for many years, the board voted on the evening of 1/12/2026 to stop use of the forum in favor of the modern, more effective means.

Most of our general club organization will now be coordinated via Discord and results from our events along with schedules and announcements will be hosted on our main alscca.net webpage.

What does this mean for the old forum? Well, in short we are going to stop using it. This has been reviewed several times in the past few years, and there has been a desire for some of more tenured members of the club to have the historic content preserved. In an effort to preserve this content, it was discovered that we could not simply export the content to be placed in a modern website. This forum will now become an archive only forum and will not be monitored. If you wish to preserve any of the content, this is your time to search the pages to find it. There is no promise that this content will remain available forever with the fragile nature of this forum.

  • Sport rear brakes on a NA miata

I recently got.tired of my life being threatened by the brakes on this 97 miata I drive everyday and I installed rear rotors, calipers, and brackets from a 2001 NB with sport brakes . Now it has fantastic brakes on the road. The only issue I have now is that my parking brake wont stay adjusted . 4 times now ive adjusted it at the allen adjusters and it works ok for about 3 days and then it gets to where it wont hold on a hill. Anyone else had this?

Try tightening at the parking brake. I assume you are talking about adjustment at the rotors. Where ya been?

Yes that is what i was talking about. The adjustment on the caliper that you take the 14 mm plug out to get to. Walley i have been around. I have been doing alot of track days with chin motorsports so that has kept me from tt a bit. Im still developing the 240. Uncortunately this year ....scca tt dates fell in wierd spots for me schedule wise. I really think I have a bum caliper causing this issue. I have 2.more remanufactured calipers on the way to see if this corrects my parking brake problem.
