    Just saw this on my stream. This is pretty cool stuff. No cams with as long a lift duration as you'd like. It's cool as a polar bears balls that people think this stuff up.

    I know the F1 teams have been running pneumatic systems for quite some time. These systems still run camshafts though. I believe Renault was working on a system that used electronic actuators for their valve systems. It seems really cool.

      He was also saying how the air from the engine can be used as a pump to operate the valves and also as a huge turbo.. with 0 lag

        My dad has always been obsessed with removing moving parts from engines. He built one about 10 years ago using electric actuators. Cat has been using the electric actuators some of their applications since that time.
