anybody got a 1/16npt tap

I need to borrow a 1/16 pipe thread tap to thread a hole for a nozzle . Post up if you have one .

yeah ...nah...I went all over town on a Sunday looking for a 1/16 tap and apparently that is a very unpopular size . Everyone had 1/8 and up but no one had 1/16. Even harbor freight didnt have it .

I've got 1/8, 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 ... no 1/4. You sure it's NPT?

I've never seen threaded pipe that small. I've got a 1/4 and a 5/16

Ricky, The smallest taps I have are metric 3x0.50 and 3x0.60 and standard 4-40. I'm in the club of "never heard of 1/16 npt". Let me know if you need anything I have.

HA SMAs....yes 1/16 by 24 NPT is the size of this nitrous nozzle i need to thread in .Google it .

At any rate NAPA has ordered me one . I should have it tomorrow. I even tried to find a 1/8 to 1/16 bushing but that was unobtainable also LOL.

Oh duh...thanks Chuck...If the thing with NAPA does not yield the correct tool then I would be very appreciative if I could borrow it say like Thursday....
