I own a fender roller if anyone in the ALSCCA needs to rent one closer. It worked on my E30, haven't tried it on the E36 yet. Not Eastwood but a similar style that I got off of Amazon.

    Edit:

    Similiar to this: http://www.amazon.com/Fender-Roller-...=fender+roller

    But mine is red.

Yeah, I was gonna do RS-3s but the Rivals were a little cheaper and had a rebate.

You don't strike me as the ricer type, why so much tire stretch?

I had no idea they would be that stretched. It seems the 225 rivals have a narrower tread than the RS3s. They felt great yesterday though!

Yeah, those Rivals are significantly narrower than the same size RS3 I used to run on that same wheel.

I think it's also the way it looks in the photo. Didn't look nearly as stretched in person.

What width wheel? My Rivals don't look that stretched on my 15x8s? However several of my customers have the 15x9 with the 225 Rival and they have a lot more stretch to them.

Delanie, you ready for the TT school?

15x9. I'm ready except for deciding what to do about a transponder (rent or buy).

no pressing reason to buy a transponder, so just rent one. Plus from internet stories it sounds like it is a mini-nightmare to buy a used transponder and get it set up with your name, etc.

Amen to that. Rent for a bit then decide once the drama has straightened itself out. Or better yet, figure out how to make your own transponder and cut AMB out of the loop all together and profit from the thousands of racers that would buy from you over AMB.

Yes on 15x9s a 225 will look stretched.
