  • Looking to "try on" some seats

I'm considering getting some aftermarket seats for the Miata. Is there anywhere in B'ham to shop seats? I am particularly interested in the Sparco Sprint 5

    thanks!

B-ham? Not so much. Make a day trip over to Summit with the boys and try out all the seats.

I have a Cobra Sebring seat that I may be selling soon. I just put it in the RX7 and I may be going with something else...

Edwin has exactly what I was looking for...just one inch too narrow

Vince, remind me to take a look at it next time you have the 7 at an event.

If it's the same seat I sat in, there is no way you will fit. I'm pretty sure I gave my self a testiclectomy getting into it.

I've got a corbeau FX1 wide in the volvo that you can have a seat in at some time.

Rod isn't exactly a small guy..

It seems as though most race seats are built for people who weigh close to 160-170 lbs, and are of a small frame. Then when they make them for fat people, they're made for really big people, so the guy who's too big to fit in the baby seat is too small to fit in the big daddy seat... Where is the seat that is just right?

Not if you want a reasonably priced Sparco...they are one size only

You also have to consider my application. The "large" versions of a seat rarely fit in a Miotter with surgery to the seat or the car.
