  • How to stagger these tires for Road Atlanta

I have 3 well worn v710s, I have 2 (relatively) fresh RA1's. All are the same size

I have no idea how to move these around for Road Atlanta. I don't know the differences in characteristics between the RA1's and the v710s in terms of traction, or wear - or if it's better to have matching fronts, or matching on one side. I have no ABS, and a frontheavy brake bias-so I brake fairly early- so minor differences in front wheel lockup may affect me less than it would other peopel

By eyeballing RA- I'm guessing the newer RA1's either up front, or on the left side of the car, with v710s on the rear, or right side (with one v710 waiting in reserve).

Oh great wise ones that have run both ythese tires and/or RA rain you great mana of wisdom upon me.

Absolutely DO NOT put them on the front or the back. But the newer tires on the left side, and the older on the right. Inflate to manufacturer recommended pressure and drive. By doing this, you do not change the balance of the car. Chuck
