  • Need a good tire/alignment shop

Guys, I'm looking for suggestions. I'm about to buy 3 sets of tires, which will be a pretty big lump-sum purchase of around $1700 when it's all said and done, plus the alignment. I'd like to give the business to a reputable local shop if they can meet my needs. Here is what I'm looking for ...

Able to get the tires I'm looking for ... Dunlop, BFG and Kuhmo
    Decent prices
is willing to use a torque wrench on my aluminum lugs
GOOD alignment guy who can/will set the specs I give and is willing to work with upgraded suspension components/camber plates
    Lifetime alignment offer
    Inverness/Hoover/Pelham/Alabaster area preferably

Anyone have suggestions? If anyone knows someone who can fit the alignment criteria and will work with Tire Rack, that's acceptable too.

Goodyear/Autowiz on 280 across from Target, directly behind Burger King.
Ask for Roger King. Good guy who's done stuff for Autocrossers and Roadracers before.

    Tell him I said hey!

I'll call him today. I talked to Saab per other recommendations and was quoted $120 per set for mount/balance. That seems a bit high.

The location won't help you any Matt, but I use Warrior Tire located just off I-65 @ exit 284 (Hayden/Corner exit). They charge $10/tire for mount & balance. I don't know if they do lifetime alignments, but I will getting the Miata re-aligned soon so I'll find out.
