I have been inspired by other miata drivers to work on the aero of my car & put a wing on it. I have found some cheap ones on eBay. I have found single & double plane straight aluminium wings as well as single element abs plastic (can't afford carbon fiber) contoured wings. My question is, which would provide more down force double element straight aluminium or single element contoured?

Also, to go along with the wing I am planning to paint my car lime green & add some tribal grafix because I need more horsepower;P

I did a little research this morning on wings for SM/SM2 and it would appear that most are pretty tight lipped about what really works.

Here is some information from APRperformance. That is where I bought my wing. They have alot of information and you can also call their service line and they can pull up their database and tell you which miatas are running which wings at which heights. They are very helpful.

ok, from what I have gathered untill I can afford a hard top & a 3d wing it doesnt make difference which I use. neither will be particularly efficient, but either will be better than none. now i just need to find a cheap wing, probably 2 element aluminum. where can i find one that is affordable? i'm not finding anything between the extremes like
