    This is what can happen if it sits for a long time.I am rebuilding all 4 on my 944.

    yes that looks quite fubarred.I would think that the most economical repair would be some remanufactured units .Those caliper pistons and bores are probably pitted beyond a reliable repair.

      All 4 were in that condition,the rust was mainly at the point in the picture,was able to hone them out and found they were not pitted repair kits were 10 bucks each versus 60 ea for rebuilt units.

        Go back with Castrol LMA. Use it in my race car...cheap and great. Chuck

          I bought some Motul RBF 600, got my belts on , vibrations gone, glad it wasnt the motor mounts.
