  • WTBorrow: 2.25" ID, 6" springs 550-650 rate

I was curious if anyone has some springs laying around that I could try out this weekend at the auto-cross. I'm looking for something to stiffen the rear of the car a bit.

    Specs:

    2.25" ID
    6" Length
    550 to 650 lb/in

If anyone has a spring in that rate range with those dimensions I'd love to try it on Saturday. I can swap the springs for the day and give them back at the end of the day. I could buy lunch for the borrowed time.

    Let me know. Thanks!

pretty sure we have those in the garage for the e30 Jerry. I'll have to check, or perhaps I can get Mark to check as he goes that way everyday. I'll let you know.

      Cool, Thanks!

I have some old E30 springs left over but mine were all 5" length, not 6". I don't have enough adjustment to use them and still get the ride height correct. I'm hoping for 6" springs to swap in so the ride height will be close. I know a higher rate will have less sag but it should work for testing.
