  • Good Trickle Charger

I'm looking for a good trickle charger for my car between autocrosses every month. I'm looking for one with an automatic cutoff. Oh, and I don't have internet so forgive me if I don't respond immediately.

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and torque is how far you take the wall with you.

Here's a thought - How about a battery disconnect? I was having problems with (Byron's) Escort killing the battery until I bought one of these battery disconnects at WalMart and installed it- http://www.walmart.com/ip/Everstart-...nnect/16006670

You can probably also get (a possibly better) one at whatever parts store you prefer.

If you really need a tender, here's a thread about the subject - http://grassrootsmotorsports.com/for...ce/6757/page1/

    and here's a selection - http://www.amazon.com/s/?ie=UTF8&key...sl_bf2bbvfcb_e

I use a Deltran Battery Tender Plus. It works as advertised. I move it around from one battery to the next.

I have the Schumacher 1.5A Speed charger. ~$21.00 at Walmart. Works great as a trickle charger and will charge small batteries.
