Daily Driver

I'm looking for a new car to daily. Budget of about 5k, and I need something reliable, efficient (28mpg+), decently clean (inside and out), and would like for it to be pleasant to drive. Not looking for something "sporty", I've got a fun car. It also must be a stick. If you stumble upon anything that seems to fit that description, feel free to send it my way. Thanks!

What do you think about a Honda CRX?

I think they're hard to find clean for a good price. I'm not opposed to them as a car, just have yet to see one I'd be interested in. I'd also (being picky, I know) sort of like a car from this millennium, and graduate from the 90's...I'm going over to Macon today to check out a Protege5 (yes, the wagon) that seems to be a good deal...I'm taking money cause I like the looks of it thus far.

Yep, I looked all over for a good Protege 5 but all I found was wore out ones.

Yeah I've seen a few and the last one I saw and went to test drive, it was kinda crappy. This one looks to be good though and I'm hopeful. I had never really though about these cars but they're really growing on me recently...it would be the first non-Nissan car I've owned haha.

Well I got it. It might be seen at an upcoming autocross...gotta give it a good shakedown :P
