Forum will no longer be utilized!

After facing many challenges with utilization of this forum for many years, the board voted on the evening of 1/12/2026 to stop use of the forum in favor of the modern, more effective means.

Most of our general club organization will now be coordinated via Discord and results from our events along with schedules and announcements will be hosted on our main alscca.net webpage.

What does this mean for the old forum? Well, in short we are going to stop using it. This has been reviewed several times in the past few years, and there has been a desire for some of more tenured members of the club to have the historic content preserved. In an effort to preserve this content, it was discovered that we could not simply export the content to be placed in a modern website. This forum will now become an archive only forum and will not be monitored. If you wish to preserve any of the content, this is your time to search the pages to find it. There is no promise that this content will remain available forever with the fragile nature of this forum.

    Rent/Buy Tires

    looking for some tires for the rest of the season. does anyone have any used tires i could buy for a 17'' rim? current ones are 225/45/17 so anything in the 225-255 range.

    wheels are 5 x 100 so if anyone has a set mounted that i could rent out of an event or two that would be awesome as well. for this, as long as it fits on the hub i would go for it.

    Caj ,are you just looking for tires to rent or do you want to buy a set?The reason I ask is that I have a set of victoracers that I am not using .They are 245 40/17s.I will sell them.Make me an offer

    They have 2 autoxs and 2hours of Barbers on them.Still plenty of meat.I have 2 sets of 710s Im working through so Im not so concerned with the 700's right now.

      ah cool! are they mounted or separate?

      i thought it might be more likely to find some tires someone wasnt using for an event, but yeah i would buy them. i sold a used set this year for $100, so i figure thats a good price.

      no work tomorrow due to Columbus Day...i could come by and pick them up any time. let me know when/where you are available. if not, any evening will do...just need time to get them mounted before the event.

            ha...i did at E6, the last event i did...i was about 4 seconds slower! my streets are 70,000 mile warranty Goodyears. they have to be the worst possible tire for AX. 205/55/16 i think. more sidewall than contact patch.
