  • Needed: '92 Miata ECU

I found out that the Miata ECU doesn't function properly underwater. I let the smoke out of a couple of capacitors, at least, thanks to the record-setting rains in Wilmington, NC, a couple of weeks ago.

John Waight had a '92 Miata ECU available. Thanks!

Check with Tom Neel at the partsgroup.com. He's right down the road from me. If I remember, I'll ask him tomorrow.

Robert Russom may also have one laying around. Last I heard he had a few Miata parts left he was trying to find a new home for.

I see Tom's got 'em listed on his website, and I have an email out to Robert.

I'd like to find one, here, in Anniston, today, though. We shall see.

Sounds like it needs a Megasquirt.

That'd be cool. I'll be at BMP all weekend, so maybe we can hook up, somewhere, if you find it.

I looked at 'em, but they're about 10 times my available budget, for now.

Sounds like it needs a Haltech E6X. I bet I know where you could find one!

I may also have a stock ECU. I'll take a look.

Btw, Chuck, I don't have any messages from you. My new e-mail is RCRussom@Gmail.com.

Thanks, Robert, but John took care of me, this morning.

BTW, the email I sent was to the address in this post - http://www.alscca.net/community/showthread.php?t=1958
