Forum will no longer be utilized!

After facing many challenges with utilization of this forum for many years, the board voted on the evening of 1/12/2026 to stop use of the forum in favor of the modern, more effective means.

Most of our general club organization will now be coordinated via Discord and results from our events along with schedules and announcements will be hosted on our main alscca.net webpage.

What does this mean for the old forum? Well, in short we are going to stop using it. This has been reviewed several times in the past few years, and there has been a desire for some of more tenured members of the club to have the historic content preserved. In an effort to preserve this content, it was discovered that we could not simply export the content to be placed in a modern website. This forum will now become an archive only forum and will not be monitored. If you wish to preserve any of the content, this is your time to search the pages to find it. There is no promise that this content will remain available forever with the fragile nature of this forum.

    WTB: Suzuki Swift GT - Any Condition!

    Even though I have an LS1 Camaro, I harbor an unhealthy obsession for Geo Metros and Suzuki Swifts. I'm also a member on www.teamswift.net (I'm wondering if TurboGeo is, too?).

    As I posted on TS, I'm looking for a Suzuki Swift GT / GTi. Any condition, just so long as it is a 5-speed and sub $1500. I have a hatchback Metro, two convertibles, and a four door Swift, but I've never even seen a GT car in real life.

    Please, Please, Please ask everyone you know! I really want one of these things. I dream about it, I think about it constantly, I can hardly function anymore!

      The only place Ive seen one of those cars is on youtube. Id love to see one in person .The car was really quite impressive. Good luck

          Coolant steam was involved .Lack of compression was mentioned ..I didnt realize it was a twin cam car??

            It is a gti one owner car bought new at jim burke even have the window sticker. the black and silver car is also a twin cam and was in grassroot about 6 yrs ago i have parted about 10 of those cars out just crushed 3 tubs last summer for space. have a dozen motors or so.
