no friggin clue what happened, was running touge, crested a hill caught air banged the limiter for a second maybe two. car shut off. it ran hot but not a spiked gauge, it went to the third dash. it normally sits on the first dash. let the car sit with the heater on, got it back to temp. started it back up, it seemed to run fine, just cruising no big throttle or anything along and then bam bam bam, it sounded like als. and a big flame shot out. the car didn't die it stayed on, but when i gave it gas the car wouldn't move forward. turned it off, cranked it back up it turned on. finished the cruise, even slower than before. got back to town. pulled into wendy's to eat. finished eating asked my buddy to erase the code so i could use my cruise control on the drive home. he deleted it and it came right back on. i decided to do an ecu reset by taking the ground off the battery. it wouldn't crank back up at all, well it would crank but it wouldn't start. i pulled a spark plug and tested it the best way, shocked the shit out of myself. pulled a fuel line it sprayed fuel.

no friggin clue as to what it could be, but, if you have any idea I'd seriously appreciate it. I seem to think it is ecu related.

If anyone has a truck that can tow a trailer I would greatly appreciate and offer monetary retributions for assistance. If not I will end up renting a uhaul, which I would like to avoid if at all possible.

He found that the issue is the crank position sensor. He's going back up to Ft. Payne Tuesday to get it sorted. Hopefully, he won't need a tow.
