Need a key programmer and a Ford Tech

I've got an extra key for the Mustang I need programmed. Tried one recommended locksmith who I can't get to return a call. Can anyone recommend someone?

Also, do we have anyone who works at a Ford dealership? I'd like to get the Mustang looked over before the warranty expires but no nothing about the local dealerships/service departments.

We've had pleasant experiences with the service department at Ernest McCarty Ford in Alabaster. Not so great experiences with Long-Lewis.

I recently used Robbie Griffith of "Access Lock and Key" to program an aftermarket VW GTI key. Not many people wanted to touch a VW key, but he was able to do it. His phone number is 205-281-4819 and he will come to you.

Regarding Ford service, we used to use Ernest McCarty a long time ago when we had an Explorer and had pretty good results with them. No idea if the same people are there now or not.
