Greetings Friends:
Some of you are aware of the part time work I have at Barber Motorsports Park. Some similar opportunities are available. Please share this with your friends and acquaintances who might be looking for part-time work.
Do not contact me about this employment, it will only delay your opportunity.
Jim Farris
Pro Motion Events Inc. is the contractor for the Mercedes Benz Employee Immersion Experience at Barber Motorsports Park. They are hiring up to four regular, part time Event Assistants.
The work is primarily outside and includes setting up training stations, EZ-ups, tables, chairs, and coolers; greeting Mercedes employees and assisting them to the proper exercise; monitoring the instructor's execution of the exercise and assisting as necessary (helping those who choose not to ride, but drive in an exercise, replacing traffic cones or obstacles); and taking down the infrastructure at the end of the day.
The primary goal of this training is to give existing Mercedes Benz employees nationwide a new appreciation for their products and their capabilities. While it may be hidden in the previous description, the main focus of these positions is customer service in the form of participant enjoyment, safety and education, and program organization.
The work will generally be scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays, Noon until 6:00pm, 45 weeks out of the year for the next four years. There may be opportunities for additional hours or work on other days.
The work requires you to be on your feet for long hours, monitor and talk on a hand-held radio, lift objects up to 100lbs (concrete tie down buckets moved short distances), and is performed rain or shine, but not in thunderstorm conditions.
The salary is in the $10/hour range.
You must have a current driver's license and a clean driving record
You must be 21 years old.
PME Inc. is an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
