You may have to bring it to Whitney Jct. You could pick up your springs at the same time.

Lots of PB blaster, tension from a three jaw puller, a hit of heat from a propane torch, a few bursts from an air hammer, prolific use of various curse words and the threat of borrowing a torch. All combined the axle just popped free.

At 135000 miles I'm guessing those axles had never been out. My Friday day off bearing replacement turned into 3 days and a trip to Whitney Junction and included new brakes and rotors as well as replacing the collapsed FM springs with factory springs courtesy of Darryl Engle. Thanks again for the use of the press for bearing removal/install.
