  • Machinist needed for surfacing a head

    Who what where when how?

Carly's car overheated on the highway, there's coolant in the oil, I'm guessing it's more than just a blown head gasket. Who surfaces heads for not a lot of money?

Water in the oil has been known to kill bearings. It might be cheaper in the long run to swap in a junkyard engine, prices range from 450 to 1300 for Tiburon.

I'm sure Performance Specialties could do it. Great guys to work with. Darryl has a point though ... at the minimum you could consider replacing bearings as well just to be on the safe side, or go with a replacement engine.

HESCO. If you didnt run it long with water in the oil then you'll be ok.
