Brake shop

Anybody have an opinion on Tire Engineers (probably the one downtown) for brake work? My daughter needs the rotors turned on her Accord. They gave her a good price compared to other places (she has no money!). Any comments would be appreciated.

If you're in huntsville, I'd be willing to be you have a friend that works on the arsenal?

They turn rotors at the auto skills shop, something like $10 a rotor or less. I can't remember, it's been so long, but it's a great place to go and do it yourself. $6 an hour to use the lifts, take the rotors off yourself (get the girl to help) then hand em over and they'll turn em.

I've found that its almost as cheap to have your rotors replaced than it is to turn them. Of course that is if you do your own brake work.

unless its a late 90s to early 2000s accord LOL. Those rotors dont slip off . The hubs have to be disassembled to remove the rotors so make sure you know if the rotors are captured or not before deciding on a shop ...price is secondary inthat case .
