GM 9.25 IFS Rebuild

Any recommendations of local drive line shops willing to replace seals and bearings in a GM 9.25 IFS Diff. I need fairly quick turnaround, but not ready to drop 2K on a new unit. The parts kits run around $350.00 for new Timken Bearings and Seals. The only other questionable part is the stub shaft on the drivers side of the diff, possible scaring from the bearing failure.

This is on an 06 sierra 2500 4x4. I noticed gear oil leaking with slight movement at the stub shaft over the last week. I need to get this repaired before the whole unit is nothing more than a boat anchor!

that diff is pretty simple to work on . I have not personally gone all the way into the front one . I have only repaired the common axle seal leaks. If you are not having any other symptoms besides a leaky seal then its possible that there are no other things needed . Its much easier to remove the the entire diff from the truck and work on it on a bench than to try and do it in the truck though. Id be glad to take a look at it for you and see what we need to do .
