Anyone have a setup that I can put the Miata on before I start adding things to it? I want to get a weight of the car before so I kinda know where to go from here.

Partsgroup has a set but I would think someone in town would as well.

this is very true. although, the great thing about Alabama, is I'm pretty sure I could get a tag and title for even this thing.Originally posted by seducksauce View PostI don't think this car is gonna "ride out" anywhere

Dash? uh, this thing doesn't have a dash, or doors, or a windshield.Originally posted by Cholewa View PostAs long as the vin on the dash matches the vin on the title and the color is somewhat the same, no problem.

Load the car and take the whole rig, truck, trailer, and car, to the salvage place. Pull onto the scale and get a weight. Unload car, reweigh the rig. This has worked many times for a good, maybe-better-than ballpark figure when I couldn't access proper scales. Also, it was free. I know of one place 1 block from I20 in Moody. The scale is next to the road so it is extra easy access.
