Clutch and Brake Speciality did mine.

    Clutch & Brake Specialty Co

Spec can also do it if you're on the west side of town.

I think it was $50, and he had a time with the ring gear. If the Miata is simple it will definitely not be more than that. Real nice guy too.

I think some O'Reilly stores resurface them for like $15 as well.

Nick, I think the O'Reiley stores use a brake lathe on flywheels. It's much better to use a grinder specifically for flywheels due to the hot spots they develop. A lathe will often "skip" over them due to the surface properties. There are 3 or 4 places in B'Ham that have one.

Yeah Mike over at clutch and brake has been doing my work since I got a drivers license . Great fella.

Brake lathes will most times make a mess of a flywheel . Ask me how I know

Bringing this one back from the grave. Does anyone know if clutch and brake is still in business? The number listed is no longer in service.

Thanks Michael. I ended up at Automotive Friction Material downtown. $37.50 with a 30 minute wait. Work was done on a grinder. Clutch and brake is no longer in business.
