Am I the only one that didnt know there was a very cool racer/LSx store on Appaloosa Drive in irondale???? I went there and bought_right off the shelf_an aluminum LS to 240sx driveshaft for my car for $315. That is right about and less than some online stores for the same 1 piece shaft in steel. I am stoked and I warned my wife that I have found where my childs inheritance is going from now on . They also have the usual racer gear on shelf ...gloves,suits,helmets,etc. BTW they also have a dynojet dyno. i plan to utilize that too. Small world . Funny thing is Ive been to their website umpteen times and never noticed till today that they were right up the road!!!

Bought some AN fittings from them recently ... they have the whole Russell catalog on the wall back there. Need to head over and do some pulls in the Beetle soon.

Muffler?""I actually had a baffle installed for the national event. It choked the exhaust so much the car wouldn't idle. It will not be used. Looking for a nice straight through option that will quieten it a little.

Even a SuperTrapp(TM) would be preferable to the a̶m̶p̶l̶i̶f̶i̶e̶r̶ megaphone you had on the car the one time I heard it running. ;^)

I'm slightly snotty about this issue because, about a year ago, I experienced a measurable hearing loss from a single exposure to one car in particular at BMP. I was shooting photos along the front straight, and had forgotten to insert my earplugs. They don't do much good when they're in your pocket.

I don't want anybody else to experience that, although cumulative exposure is probably just as damaging in the long run.
