Must be the black car - 04? Sorry to hear it's that bad.

I found one in north AL via car-part.com. They're putting in the replacement now. Looks like it was a broken oil pump shaft.

I guess that engine didn't work out for 'em. Lots of smoke accelerating out of certain turns, and then some other problems. Results say 21 laps down.

Yeah, it was pouring smoke off 6 in a big big way. I know they got hit by Miata in the opening laps and thought it may have been tire smoke as they seemed to cut the left rear down right where the Miata got em. He got some experience in the last minute race track thrash at least!

I haven't talked to Shelton much, but I do know that they pulled an all nighter getting it ready to go. Then they had some problems of their own making as well. Shelton said they were happy to take the checker flag.
