Sheesh, I wish I had an application for this. I loved this motor in my '63 Skylark. I think it would fit Walt W's TT special, too, if that's still for sale. . .

Can we all just agree to ignore whatever comes after Blue Ray? I don't want to have to restart my collection ...... again.

My first car was a 63 Buick Special and it had the 215 ci aluminum V8 with a 2 speed auto trans. Not very fast but it was transportation. By the way gas back then was 27 cents a gallon.

It is destined for a MGB GT as soon as we can find the hours to play with it. Alan has already removed the MG suspension front and rear, and replaced it with Miata. We were going to install a 302 but this will be much better. Can you say "custom headers, drive shaft, rear end, fuel tank, etc, etc?" It was going to be a Biattastang. I guess now it will just be a Biatta. Make that a Biatta GT.

              Anyone need a 302?

That will make a great B-GT.
I have a Spitfire and was considering the motor for that as well.

Actually, it's not being built to a class (Street Rod). It's primary duty will be for those grocery runs in between the monthly Sequoia/Sams excursions (and stop light gran prix). That said, I'm very sure it will discover the route to autocross, if not track day (more like a bee line). I mean, how else are we going to know? Right? But don't look for it anytime soon (min. 2 seasons, 2011 maybe). There are many hours required but so few hours available (I have to work, and so do Alan & Matt).

PS- Happy birthday, Wally! Are you like 42 yet? I've been 42, somewhere back there. Have a cupcake!

No doubt. Somewhere I heard this engine is not only twice the displscement of a "B" but 40 pounds lighter to boot. In a Spitfire you would definately need fat "tyres" and some concrete in the trunk just to get out of the hole!

The whole thing sat for several years with the heads off and it naturally does not spin by hand. Soak with PB Blaster? Suggestions?
