    Original ad, for posterity:

Three times, that I can recall, I've made the mistake of taking possession of cars for $50 or less, thinking they'd make good projects. At those times, I've failed to consider that I'm not much of a mechanic, and that I don't really have a place to work on a car. There was the purple TR-6 and the brown 260Z, which I barely broke even on when I got rid of them many years ago, and, now, another, listed below:

1993 Subaru Legacy station wagon, previously known as The Black Pearl.

C said, "First come, first served, just get it out of here." I drove across town with the trailer, loaded up the car, and it's sat on the trailer for the 3+ years, since. It has a 5-speed, needs a water pump, a battery, and a good power washing. C says he has a spare set of heads for the car. He and Sara have had two children while this thing has been outside my window. It's time for me to admit that this was a bad idea for me.

I've also decided that I don't like maintaining two extra vehicles in order to get a car to the track. Therefore, I offer the following for sale:

1998 Ford F150 Lariat edition pickup.

Most recently, this truck has managed to move the majority of our stuff either from old Point A to new-to-us Point B, or to the county transfer station. It starts fine, stumbles for a while while it warms up, and then stumbles a bit less once it's up to temperature. It needs a heater core and a water pump. There's a check engine light on, and I'm told it's probably the oxygen sensor(s.) The rear passenger door doesn't unlock, and the air conditioning doesn't work. The brakes probably need service, and, although there's decent tread, the tires are eight or nine years old. I won't need this if I can unload the trailer.

16' car trailer of unknown manufacture.

In addition to keeping the Subaru, above, out of the grass for the last 3 years, this trailer has taken my old Escort GT to Road Atlanta, TGPR, and Barber a few times, my Miata as far as North Carolina and back, and carried the Jetta home from Road Atlanta after I blew the engine. The 14" tires are about 3-4 years old, the brakes and wheel bearings probably need service, and it's missing a ramp that disappeared on the way home from buying a tire at the nearest WalMart, a while back. Luckily, it's low enough that a 2x6 (provided) will substitute. The current jack on the trailer is too low, so you'd probably want to find one that can be tilted out of the way.

I know I'd be yelling, by now, "How much?," so here it is:

Any one item listed above - $1500

Any two items together - $1250

    All three combined - $1000

These items are located in Saks, Alabama, just around the corner from the alpaca farm.
