  • For Sale 1995 BMW 325is Autocross/TT Car - $3200

I have this up on the TeamTAC page, but thought I would add it here, in case there is interest. Thanks folks.

It's time to let my car go. We are having to do a bit of a 'reset', due to nagging health problems. I hope to make it back to racing in the future, but for now, someone else needs to enjoy this car as much as I have.

I purchased the car in early 2013, with right at 200,000 miles from a long-time member of TAC, and it now has 205,022. I drove it to autocross events until I did the suspension mods, and then trailered it everywhere, so it has seen 3 seasons of autocross and one TGPR time trial weekend since I've owned it.

    Here is the lowdown:
It has a TT logbook, but the annual needs updating.

    Engine/Drivetrain:
    AFE intake kit
    Turner Conforti DME chip
    Borla cat-back exhaust
UUC Lightweight flywheel w/Luk M5 pressure plate and disc
    3.15 LSD swapped in
ECS overdrive aluminum water pump pulley
    Rogue Engineering transmission mounts
UUC EVO3 short shear kit with double-shear selector rod

    Suspension:
Bilstein B8 Sport shocks and struts w/H&R Sport springs
Ground Control Street adjustable camber plates
Eibach 28mm adjustable front swaybar w/Bimmerworld adjustable spherical end links
    Powerflex front control arm bushings
    Rogue Engineering rear shock mounts

    Other:
    Apex ARC-8 wheels, 17x9 ET42 w/12mm spacers up front
Dunlop Direzza ZII Star-Spec 255/40R17 (2015) with a good bit of tread left
Apex Race Parts wheel stud conversion
    ECS Tuning stainless brake lines
    Brembo OEM-grade rotors w/Porterfield R4-1 brake pads
Sabelt suede steering wheel w/NRG quick-release hub
Front and rear tow strap brackets w/2in web straps
Sparco fiberglass seats (older bottom-mount) w/Planted seat brackets and fixed adapters
Competition Engineering back brace for driver seat
    Autopower bolt-in roll bar
Schroth Profi-II Hans 6-pt harness, driver (expired, but ok for autocross & TT)
Schroth Profi-II 6-pt harness, passenger (same)
SPA Design Firesense 4liter AFFF fire bottle w/6 nozzles (3 driver/3 eng compartment)
    Mylaps X2 Transponder w/Racekey

The A/C still works great, new heater core last year, too
New radiator, water pump, thermostat when I bought it
New front control arms and tie rods in 2014
Recently did second fuel pump mod to cure fuel starvation in extended right turns (known problem with some of these cars)
Long list of other replacement parts, receipts, etc (I was on the fence race vs. street for a while)

    Negatives:
The paint shines up decent, but lot of spotting on the front, hood, top and a few dings on top
I pulled the sagging sunroof liner off
The rear seat interior side panels were sad, so I tossed them during the roll-bar install
I cut the carpet where the roll-bar mounts, intending to remove it completely at some point, so that's ugly.
Bad cruise control motor, so I tossed it and removed the switch (first step to my dedicated track conversion)
No stereo or speakers (removed for DSP class, didn't work anyway)
The instrument cluster has an intermittent issue with some display segments missing. Tapping on the face brings it back, so I am guessing loose solder joint somewhere perhaps.

    Spares:
    original open differential
    stock airbox
    stock muffler
    Eibach 21mm rear swaybar
    stock front swaybar
    stock front and rear springs
    stock fog lights

Wow. That looks like a hell of a deal for $3200. I don't see this sale lasting long!

Uh oh... our resident German has given up Miatas for a Benz wagon and now responding to an ad for a BMW. This can only end one way...
