It varies based on ambient light, relative humidity, moon phase, and whatever I had for my most recent meal. The predominant plan is an 2002-2004 C5 Z51 for BStreet. A C5 Z06 is also likely, especially since they are much easier to find. Other possibilities are as varied as Mustangs (GT for FS; v6 or ecoboost performance pack for the upcoming move to DS), Lexus ISF (FS) or IS350 (DS move), or even the odd 996 or Cayman S.

The logical problem with those options is the C5 Z06 is typically cheaper, sometimes much cheaper, and always faster. If it had come in the targa body style it would be a no-brainer.

Well, glad to see you have it nailed down and not being influenced by any undue circumstances! Of course the real answer is always Miata (with forced induction!), but I could do a Vette as well if I could afford the tires!

Looking forward to seeing whatever you get...just remember if the last meal is a strong influence, I'd avoid Taco Bell and Chinese food for a while! ;-)

                  Wise words my friend

One (almost) certainty...No convertibles on the list.

btw... I've come to the conclusion that the real answer is always Corvette but the Miata cabal more aggressively pushes their own agenda.

Update: the "clunk" was a loose endlink that seemed tight until I put a socket on it...doh!

No one took advantage of our moment of weakness and now sanity has returned. Car off the market.
