  • For Sale 1998 amac dsr

    1998 AMAC AM7, S/N 004, D sports racer (P1 or P2).
    Test bed for George Dean’s engines (ZX-10, ZX-11 turbo, Suzuki 600 turbo and GSXR 1000)
    Built for Dick Boggs then sold to Craig Farr in November 2007
    Currently P2 configured (reinstall the diffusers for P1)
    SCCA Logbook 27-0732 with Homologation Certificate
    SEDIV SARRC Champion (DSR and P2). Has held track records at Barber, Nashville, TGPR

    • Ohlins ST-44 shocks
    • Additional left foot brake pedal
    • 4 piston Wilwoods, ventilated front discs
    • Keizer wheels with Hoosier R35. Two extra sets of Keizers (one with older Hoosier rains, one with old Hoosier R35)
    • Car dry/empty weight approximately 825#. Easily makes 1025# minimum for P2
    • Willans HANS Formula belts good thru 2016

    • Spare 04 Suzuki GSXR 1000, GDRE built, dyno’d at 183 RWHP (Wiring harness, throttle bodies, ECU, motor mounts, air box)
    • Flat Shifter Expert, No lift upshift and blipper downshift
    • Custom stainless Tedder header (Jet Hot coated) patterned after the Akrapoavic
    • Taylor Quaife differential (updated to spline design)

    One of the nicest things with the AMAC is the AMAC support system. David and Ted Arken have been building and racing AMACs since they first came out in 1990. They provide all sorts of technical advice, parts, innovations, data, etc to all the AMAC drivers. Then there is George Dean with the answers to any engine question you might ever have.
