Correct, could not mount on 9.5".

Someone posted on CF that he couldn't get them mounted on 9.5" the day after mine were delivered last week. I emailed TR, they said they may be tough but should mount with the right equipment. My shop has the "right" equipment but failed with significant effort.

Tires are spec'ed to fit a 9.5 to 10.5" rim, but the 9.5's don't seem possible. The tread width is spec'ed at 10.4", but actual seems closer to 11". I emailed TR again to let them of about this concern, we'll see what they have to say.

Thought the same thing C. That is strange. I guess the run a lot wider than most other brands. Not a good way to find out though. Maybe they will sell fast. They sticky!

Perhaps it's the shorter sidewall making it to stiff to mount?

Weren't the C5 guys in BS running the 275/35 on 9.5" wheels in the front? I guess that 10mm and shorter sidewall on the 285/30 makes a difference.

I really wish they'd do a 285/35R18, I'd put that on the Z in a heartbeat but the 285/30 is going to be too short so the 275/35 will most likely go on.

Yes, the problem is the short, extremely stiff sidewall. I'm running 275/35 Rival S's now. That tire remounted immediately, no problems.

I still have these tires. They were set aside and forgotten about. Stored in my basement garage which stays between 65 and 75 degrees year round.

              $400 for the pair.
