1987 Mazda RX-7 Base (non-sunroof and rust free)
Suspension:
Full ISC Racing suspension (400 lb springs in front, 250 lb springs in rear)
-includes fully adjustable speedway engineering front bar
-Bilstein non adjustable shocks(custom selected for RX7 by ISC Racing)
-hard upper rear shock mounts
-custom caster/camber plates
-single adjustable rear camber adjuster by AWR
-sitting on 15 x 6.5" BBS Convertible wheels with Kumho XS 205/50/15's
-Flatout Motorsport extended wheel studs with 1 1/2" spacers in rear, 1" spacers in front
-factory power steering installed from a 91 donor car with zero problems
-manual rack comes with car(in good condition)
-full 5 lug swap with S5 rotors and dual piston calipers in front
-new rear wheel bearings installed a few years ago
-ISC custom made SS brake lines
-Factory brake pads on car (comes with a set of Hawk blues)
-new brake master cylinder
Engine:
-Factory S4 engine rebuilt by Rotary Performance of Texas (unsure of mileage, but pulls strong)
-Full S5 upper and lower intake swap with 5th and 6th port sleeves by Pineapple Racing
-All emissions removed
-A/C removed
-Mechanical oil injection removed (pre-mixing required)
-Megasquirt MS3X EFI System installed along with all new engine wiring (LS1 ready, if that's your thing). Runs good enough to drive but needs to be tuned. Will include laptop to tune it with and software and wideband o2 sensor which needs to be installed before tuning.
Drivetrain:
-Factory 5 speed transmission shifts well-new shifter bushings put in six months ago
-newer factory style exedy clutch installed with new slave cylinder
-Factory S5 clutch pack LSD installed with 4:10 gears
Cooling:
-ISC racing dual pass aluminum radiator (massive-great for a future V8 swap)
-3,000 cfm 16" electric fan
-ISC Racing oil cooler with -10 AN Lines (oil temps never get over 190 on track)
-under body plastics custom cut to accommodate larger radiator and are still on car
Fuel system:
-Walbro 255 lph fuel pump installed with Aeromotive Fuel regulator
-all fuel hose replaced with new fuel filter
Exhaust:
-Racing Beat Stainless Steel header(wrapped)
-FULL ISC Racing Full 3" exhaust(includes mid pipe and rear section with Dynamax muffler) **NOTE** This exhaust is no longer made by ISC and is considered by many to be the best flowing exhaust for road racing and will meet sound at most tracks.
Interior:
-Car still has full factory blue interior.
-LMB Motorsports removable steering wheel hub with MOMO steering wheel installed
-Cobra Sebring driver's seat (FIA rated)
-Also have an oil filter sandwhich plate along with Autometer oil pressure and oil temp gauges that are not installed but will be thrown in.
Exterior:
-S5 front end conversion recently done with good front end parts (aluminum hood, front bumper and fenders).
-Car needs a paint job, but it's not necessary
-Also have a set of GTUs 16"x8" wheels with tires that will be included with the car
To go road racing, all you need to do is strip the interior, cage it, install 5.12 gears with the .86 5th gear in the tranny as well as a race clutch disc, and throw on some Hoosiers and you will have a very competitive car for way less than half the money if you were building it new.
I have about $10,000 invested into this car. Car is located in NE Alabama and has not ran in 18 months, so it will need a going over before firing up again.
