  • 1995 Ford Mustang CHEAP

I have a 1995 Mustang v6 automatic. It was my girlfriends car from High School that has been kept in the family.

Please NOTE: It has a blown head gasket, and is showing its age, being a 20 year old vehicle.

The automatic trans shifts great, it still starts right up, but the blown head gasket means that you could start your own mosquito spraying company. This is a common problem on the 3.8L v6, and there are tons of resources out there to remedy the situation. I was going to have this car as a project, but never got around to making a decision on what to do with it. Therefore, I am going to let it go.

It is a great platform, and a stout vehicle. The car is just rough enough that you wouldn't mind rallying the car, or possibly drop a big motor in it and do some track days or autocross. I would keep the car, but with changes brewing in my life I need to unload it.

According to KBB, this vehicle in Fair condition, with mechanical needs and slight bodywork damage or respray needed, is an $1100 vehicle. I currently have this vehicle up on Craigslist at $1000 OBO. For an SCCA member I will go below this as I know that the vehicle needs some help, and someone may want a project, and I would rather give to a project then wait around for someone to give me the cash money that I would want to get out of it. So with that said, if someone is interested in the vehicle I am willing to make a deal.

I'd like to get $850 out of it.

You had me until I saw automatic and the port-hole in the roof. Good luck with the sale. That should move quickly.

Come on John, the automatics are strong, and you only shift once on most courses anyway!!! And you have an advantage with the porthole, it is a moveable aerodynamic device.
