For Sale Miata Roll Bar

I'm selling the Boss Frog double hoop maxx bar that came in my car. This is the real deal, NOT a style bar. Boss Frog claims to have tested it to SCCA standards and provides documentation here. Boss Frog advertises it as not fitting under a hardtop but I've been using it with one. It just barely rubs and any squeaks can be alleviated with some teflon low-friction tape. Mine only squeaked before I put in side striker plates. Some of the paint is rubbed off where it was rubbing the top.

I was very happy with this bar and I think it makes a great bar for a daily driver due to the additional clearance from the driver's head compared to the regular double hoops. I did numerous PDX and HPDE events at TGPR and Barber with this bar without any trouble in tech. I'm only selling it to get a bar that is legal for SCCA Time Trials.

The bar you are selling is a nice looking bar; perfect for all around use for protecting your noggin; great deal for the non racer.

Thanks! I ordered the Kirk competition bar. It comes highly recommended and I can just go pick it up and save on shipping. The old one is a great looking and functioning bar for HPDEs. I'd totally stick with it if it met TT rules. I put it on MX5Atlanta.com and I think it's way more likely to sell there. Someone from that forum is who wants the harness bar.

Cool. Yeah, Kirk is right down there. I'm going to install mine (Hard Dog) myself ... should be interesting ... hope the techs don't measure crookedness.
